Just by the hair of my chiny chin chin
Nothing like cutting it a little close. I forgot all about updating my blog even though my sister told me I had to get it done today. I'm glad I remembered it before I went to bed. I only have 1 hour and 32 minutes left in order to keep my New Year's Resolution going. Only 8 more posts left! Well April flew by so fast I don't know which end is up. There was something going on every weekend.
The first weekend I still had my water fitness instructor class. The 2nd weekend I attended a class on Friday night and then headed to KC early the next morning. I took some things to Robert's to put in his new safe. I was in KC by 6:45. Had a great (very short) weekend with him and the boys. Both boys had soccer games. That was so cool to be able to go to them. We also went go cart racing. Grandma needs some work in this area. Cameron doesn't like going with Grandma. She doesn't go fast enough. The following Wednesday my sister came to stay with me because her Grandson from Texas was in Kansas to play for Jazz band. On Thursday night we went to Newton to hear them play. It was really awesome. It was great to see Rhonda, Cory and Bill even if it was just a short time. On Friday morning I left (with my sister following me) and headed to Nebr. for the Husker Spring Game. I was able to see Robert 2 weekends in a row. Woo hoo. We had an awesome time in Lincoln and was able to go out to eat to celebrate my birthday with 2 of my sisters. On Sunday I returned to Wichita and then headed over to Amy's to have a birthday supper. It was so good. She is such a good cook. Of course on the way over to Amy's I had the opportunity to meet another one of Wichita's finest. At least this guy was nice and just gave me a warning. No, I was not speeding. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. He said I didn't come to a complete stop at 55th and Hydraulic. He said I had a good driving record so he gave me the warning. Needless to say I make sure that I stop real good at that stop sign. It even has me stopping real good at 5:00 in the morning in the mall parking lot. The day after my birthday I ended up going to Intermediate care. I had strep throat. That sore throat hurt and lasted an entire week. Glad it is finally gone. So here I am with strep and stressing all week about the weekend. I had water fitness certification last weekend. I worked Friday and then went to the East Y for class. Got home about 9:30 so it was a very long day. Back at the Y all day Saturday & Sunday for the rest of class & testing. I was so worried I was not going to pass. I did pass! Yea!!! I still need to practice before I start teaching classes other than arthritis.
Now I am just waiting for little Evie to make her appearance. Hopefully she will arrive tomorrow. It would be really cool for it to be tomorrow if she is not coming on the 12th.
Well I guess I better quit blogging and head to bed. If the phone rings in the night I don't want to miss the call. I have been known to sleep through a ringing phone even when it is laying on the bed next to me. Maybe I should turn off the answering machine so that they can keep it ringing to wake me up.
